Under construction
The RCVF committee are in the planning stages of the 2026 village fair. As such, this website is under construction.
Obviously, certain sections will not be populated until they’ve been finalised. For example, the closing date for magazine entries is 15th April. Which means the final version of the Village Fair magazine will not be delivered until mid to end May.
Similarly, the Sponsors, Advertisers, Events and Attractions will be confirmed during the coming months.
Other bits, such as the Stall Enquiry form and an updated multi-purpose Contact form are already in place.
You may notice there are now several sites:
- 2026.rcvf.org.uk is the new site for the 2026 village fair to be held on 4th July 2026.
- 2025.rcvf.org.uk contains all the content for the 2025 village fair that was held on 5th July 2025
- rcvf.org.uk will continue to be the main site for news updates
This year the Horticultural Show will be organised by Rowlands Castle Gardening Club.

Chairman’s Welcome
Dear Friends,
Welcome to this year’s Rowlands Castle Village Fair, taking place on Saturday 4th July! Once again, we are looking forward to a fantastic day out for all the family and friends — a true highlight in our village calendar.
Our Fair remains proudly non-profit, with all proceeds going towards local village causes. Thanks to your ongoing support, we’re able to make a real difference to our wonderful community.
We look forward to announcing our sponsors in the months to come.
This year promises plenty to see and do:
- Lots of craft stalls featuring local produce and handmade goods.
- Fairground rides once again heavily subsidised by the committee — still just 50p per ride!
- The much-loved Horticultural Show is back, bigger and better than ever, with beautiful exhibits from our village’s green-fingered talent in the Parish Hall throughout the day.
- A fantastic raffle competition with great prizes to be won!
- Free live music throughout the day and into the evening.
- Delicious food and drink from our committee-run bar and barbecue, which will be open all day and evening — and which are vital in raising funds for next year’s Fair and our village charities.
- A fun-filled Dog Show.
- Traditional Punch & Judy shows with multiple performances to delight the children (and adults too!).
Please do come along and support us — it’s the biggest event in the village year, and we would love to see you there!
Thank you for helping to keep this wonderful tradition alive.

We’re looking for volunteers.
Friday 4th July, from 4.00pm. Set up bunting, parking cones and other fixtures.
Saturday 5th July, from 7.00am until opening. Early morning set up; eg help stall holders erect their gazebos.
Sunday 6th July, early morning: take down and tidy up.
